Translator and Interpreter Services

Baldwin Area Medical Center provides communication assistance for those patients and families whom experiences language, visual and hearing barriers. These services are provided without discrimination and at no cost to the patient. Patients and families are encouraged to utilize the Medical Center’s interpreter services whenever necessary. BAMC discourages patients from using family members and friends of the patient as interpreters.

When calling for appointments, please inform the individual scheduling your appointment that you or a family member will be needing one of these services.
