Visiting Hours:
Our visitor guidelines are designed to promote rest and relaxation. This will promote faster healing for our patients. We ask that you observe the following guidelines:
General: 11 AM to 8:30 PM daily
- Children under 14 are welcome with adult supervision.
- Anyone with a cold, sore throat or “infectious illness is asked to refrain from visiting.
- During flu season, please check with staff members for any additional restrictions.
Special Care: 1 PM to 8:30 PM daily. We ask that you observe the following guidelines for special care:
- Immediate family only
- Maximum of two visitors in patient’s room at one time.
- Visits limited to 10 minutes of every hour, unless otherwise specified.
- A significant other may remain at bedside
- During flu season, please check with staff members for any additional restrictions.
OB: 2 to 4:30 PM and 6:30 to 8:30 PM
- Immediate family and significant others may visit anytime.

Telephones:
- Local calls can be made from a patient’s room or waiting room by first dialing “9”.
- Cell phone use is permitted, however you may be refrained from use at the discretion of the staff.
Public Restrooms:
A handicapped accessible restroom is located in the main lobby on first floor. On the second floor, there is a public restroom located in the waiting room. Please ask the staff for directions if you need assistance.
Waiting Area:
Waiting areas are located in the main lobby, on second floor and the OB department. Separate waiting areas are available for families of surgery patients and emergency room patients. Please ask the staff to direct you.
Confidentiality:
For the sake of the patient’s privacy, you may be asked to leave the room while the patient undergoes various treatments and procedures.
RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY VISITATION IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES: Wisconsin Statute 146.95 gives BAMC the right to deny visitation if we determine that it is not in the best interest of the patient or would interfere with the operations of the Medical Center.
