Life Begins Birth Center Prenatal Classes
Expectant Parent Classes will help you prepare for the birth of your baby and the changes that parenthood will bring to your life. This is an exciting time for you, but it may also be a time of uncertainty. You probably have many questions about pregnancy and parenthood. These classes will answer those questions.
The Expectant Parent Class will give you current information on pregnancy and childbirth, and give you an opportunity to talk with other expectant parents. Topics covered include the effects of pregnancy on your body, breathing and relaxation exercise, preparing for the unexpected and the first few weeks at home with your baby. You will also tour the private birthing suites in our Life Begins Birth Center

Course Specifics
The instructors of this course are RNs and the OB experienced. They have a wealth of information to share with you.
Fee: Prenatal classes are free of charge if you are obtaining your prenatal care at Baldwin Area Medical Center.
We are happy to have you attend our prenatal classes if you are receiving your prenatal care elsewhere. However, there will be a $45.00 charge if you are obtaining prenatal services at another facility.
Meeting Place: The classes will meet in the Mattison Conference Room at Baldwin Area Medical Center.
