Duties include:
Baldwin Area Medical Center is seeking to fill two shifts Monday through Friday 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. with rotating weekends. Individual will be responsible as a Phlebotomist to collect clinical laboratory samples from patients from all age groups. Must be able to use lancet, butterflys, and syringes and must assemble equipment such as tourniquet, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray according to requirements for specified tests or procedures. Position requires understanding of medical terminology and basic anatomy. Certification as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant perferred.
